A Place to Call Home

In 2005 Elisa French dreamed of building a home for the many orphans who she saw while visiting Nanyuki, Kenya.  Today, through many generous donations and the partnership of Agape Fellowship Centers in Kenya, that dream is a reality.  Pavilion Village is currently home to 24 orphaned children and has 6 full time and 4 part time staff members (who live and work on site with 3 children of their own).  An American orphanage director is also on site full time.

By providing an environment of love and an atmosphere of peace, Pavilion Village is dedicated to changing the face of East Africa, one life at a time.  Currently situated on 5 acres of fertile farmland in Karura, Kenya, the facility is within an hours drive of the location where the vision was born.

The children of Pavilion Village are raised in a family environment with local people serving as house parents.  Their ages range from 5 years to 15 years.  Although some of the children had never attended school in their lives, they are all currently enrolled and doing well in their studies and scholarships for further education will be available to those who excel.

Pavilion Village is alive with the voices and laughter of children who are filled with joy.  Once abused, neglected and abandoned, these children now believe that they have hope and a future.
